Centre Oscar Lambret

Created in 1955, Centre Oscar Lambret is the regional cancer centre.

National reference in oncology, the Centre belongs to the Unicancer group and is a private healthcare establishment (établissement de santé privé d’intérêt collectif – ESPIC) exclusively dedicated to cancer treatment and research and teaching in oncology. It contributes to the hospital public service, applying charges laid down by the state and with no additional fees.

The Centre’s ambition is to fast-track innovations in oncology for all patients in the Hauts-de-France region, whether in terms of treatment, development of scientific research projects or training the specialists of tomorrow.

Centre Oscar Lambret is:

– A team of almost 1,000 people, of which 600 doctors, nursing staff and researchers;

– Around 24,000 patients treated each year;

– Almost 200 clinical trials conducted each year;

– More than 5,000 hours university and post-graduate teaching and professional training dispensed per year;

– Treatment of numerous types of cancer, but especially breast cancer, gynaecological cancer, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, urogenital cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, paediatric cancer;- A state-of-the-art technical platform including a radiotherapy unit (including three tomotherapy machines, two CyberKnife® and two Halcyons®), a medical imaging centre, a nuclear medicine unit, a brachytherapy department and an operating room fitted with a surgical robot.
